Services
As a dedicated vocal coach, I work with singers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, helping them explore their talents and develop strong vocal technique rooted in classical training. My lessons focus on musical competence, relaxation, SOVT (semi occluded vocal tract singing), developing effective resonance, and work on advanced breath management techniques. I also incorporate Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais methods to help free up voice and encourage relaxed, free singing.
I specialize in musical theater, opera, art song, and the American Songbook, guiding students in sight-reading, music reading, and song interpretation. Students can also build an audition book tailored to their strengths and receive expert audition preparation where needed.
My studio fosters a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all ages and skill levels— we can’t wait to have you!
-
My approach to vocal instruction is highly personalized, tailoring each lesson to the student’s unique voice, goals, and musical style. Through individualized exercises and repertoire selection, I help singers develop their technique, expand their range, and build confidence while staying true to their artistic identity.
-
I help students build a personalized audition book filled with songs that showcase their unique strengths, versatility, and vocal range. Audition preparation includes refining vocal technique, stage presence, and storytelling, ensuring that each performance is polished, confident, and ready to make a lasting impression.
-
I teach music reading by helping students develop strong sight-reading skills, understanding rhythm, pitch, and notation, and building confidence in reading sheet music independently. Song interpretation goes beyond just singing the notes—I guide students in expressing emotion, shaping phrasing, and connecting with lyrics to bring each piece to life in an authentic and compelling way.
-
Intense discussion and Interpretation of song. We dig into the acting hidden between the lines and dissect the arcs of the phrasing in musical theater, as well as operatic arias and English, Italian, Spanish, French, and German art song.
